Designer based in New York City, with experience in strategic design and design management, and a clear understanding of the impact of design in brand identity and growth.
Previous training and professional experience in the fields of Marketing and Market Research have become valuable additions to my education in Communications Design and professional experience as a Designer. This combination sets the platform for the way I approach projects, beginning with the understanding of the brand strategy, followed by the development of clear concepts that resonate with the target audience, and the execution of meaningful design aesthetics. I believe in the importance of design as a process and its translation into purposeful design solutions.
I earned a master's degree in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in New York City, with a major in Package Design.
As a professional, I have had the opportunity to work on projects in different industries, including consumer-packaged goods, fashion, gift and home décor, and non-profit organizations, and understand the importance of working successfully with cross-functional partners in different stages of every project.
Before attending Pratt, I spent a year at the International Center of Photography (ICP), also in New York City, where I obtained a certificate in General Studies in Photography. I bring my passion for photography to my everyday life, and understand it from an artistic and technical perspective.
I also hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a Management Major, from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela.
